1 Round of Golf on The Links at Spanish Bay

1 Round of Golf on The Links at Spanish Bay

Spanish Bay is indeed a genuine Top 100 public course layout with a lot of charm and the Scottish coastline links-style layout presents a compelling experience. Playing just over 6800 yards with 4 tee boxes, this fabulous California-links style golf course features rolling fairways surrounded by natural dunes.

Very different from the other nearby resort courses of Pebble Beach golf links and Spyglass Hill by enabling players to use either their aerial game. Links is an old Scottish word for sandy wasteland, usually near the sea, with bristly grasses and ever prevailing wind. The Links at Spanish Bay are so authentic that even the Monterey coastline in the USA mirrors Scotland’s rugged, natural beauty.

Spyglass Hill™, one of the most respected and revered courses in the world begins with one of the greatest opening stretches in golf: five spectacular sand-splashed holes that cruise up and down a sea of dunes while showcasing sublime oceanfront scenery and shots you've surely never seen.

In spite of the presence of one of the most famous courses in the world in the form of Pebble Beach, those in the know actually consider Spyglass to be the best and indeed the toughest test in the area. Loved by many for its challenge and scenic beauty, Spyglass has ranked among the best golf courses in the world for more than 40 years.

Day 4

Rockfish and Longford fishing

Rockfish and Longford fishing

Rockfish & Lingcod is not a catch and release fishery. If you aren’t sure what to do with your fish after the trip – see our friends on the wharf at the Crabhouse or Cafe Fina. Our deckhands can fillet the fish for you “restaurant style” or de-boned, so that you can take them over to Cafe Fina for the Fresh Catch Meal Deal or to the Crabhouse for a delightful, freshly caught meal. After your trip, stop in and ask about availability, and make a reservation. You can’t beat fresh fish or the fruits of your labor for dinner!

Dinner at Sandbar & Grill

Dinner at Sandbar & Grill

Tucked away underneath Monterey’s Municipal Wharf #2, the small restaurant and bar hangs alongside of the pier in dramatic fashion. Dinner offers Fresh Fish Specials, Whole Crab, a thick juicy New York Steak and more!

You walk down the steps towards the water, ring the ships bell, and enter a room surrounded by windows looking out on the marina. Waitpersons are prompt and courteous. Uncomplicated menus & lots of tasty choices.
